Find out moreTurkish Delight is a sweet treat enjoyed all around the world for centuries. This unique dessert has a rich history and cultural significance. It is also known as Lokum, an Arabic word meaning 'morsel' or 'little bite'.
Legend has it that the name 'Turkish Delight' was given by a British traveller who discovered it during his travels to Istanbul. He found the confection so delightful that he brought it back to England and shared it with his friends.
Today, Marsel Delights are following in his footsteps - we hope you enjoy their vegan, gluten-free, low-sugar, and naturally flavored Lokums.

We have four exciting flavours for you to try:
PISTACHIO - Marsel's version of all time classic. Roasted Pistachio and lokum is prepared to a perfect consistency and coated with our signature pistachio powder.
Ingredients: Sugar, gluten-free cornstarch, PISTACHIOS, citric acid.
ROSE - Turkish cuisine’s delicate and healing elements meet in this rose and blackberry Turkish delight. A dusting of blackberry powder balances the fragrance of the rose.
Ingredients: Sugar, gluten-free cornstarch, dried blackberry powder, rose oil (0,1%), citric acid.
POMEGRANATE - Marsel’s one of the most innovative flavour brings together 3 sour elements. Prepared with freshly prepared pomegranate molasses and dusted with raspberry and sumac.
Ingredients: Sugar, gluten-free cornstarch, pomegranate molasses, raspberry, sumac, citric acid.
HAZELNUT - Hazelnut and caramel are two inseparable elements in the pastry world. Now offered in lokum form, this divine combination offers a warm and familiar taste. Comes in a creamier texture.

How long does Turkish delight last?
The shelf life of Turkish Delight can vary depending on several factors, such as the ingredients used or the storage conditions. Marsel Lokum can last for up to three months if stored properly.
How to store Turkish delight?
While it is important to keep your Turkish delight cool, avoid storing it in the fridge. Refrigerators tend to draw more moisture out of Turkish delight, causing it to sweat even after it has stabilised at room temperature. The best way to store Turkish delight is in a cool, dry place that is away from direct sunlight. The only exception is if you live in an extremely hot climate, in which case storing it in the fridge may be better.

All clothing and accessories goods are sent by Royal Mail Tracked 48 delivery. Once the item has been dispatched this can take 3-4 working days. You will receive a notification once your item has been dispatched if a valid email address is provided at checkout.
We hope you are delighted with your order. However, if you are not happy with a product you will have 14 days from receiving your order to notify us.
To start a return, you can click the link. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Return postage is to be paid by the customer, this is deducted from the refund amount received at a fixed rate of £5.22 excl VAT.
