Designed by Lena Pogodina and inspired by the ideas of Surrealist artists and the East Asian inspired craze of 1920's fashion. This project is entitled 'The Armchair That Came to Tea' this dress not only fits the human form but can be used as an armchair cover too! When approaching garment upcycling Lena believes her project proves that we can expand our understanding of what can be achieved, and that second-hand clothing can be a great source for more speculative art practices.
