Owen Edward Snaith x Unsold. Retold.
Owen is a multidisciplinary designer exploring identity and heritage through fashion, textiles and cultural research. Rooted in his experience of growing up queer in a fishing community on Scotland’s east coast, his practice combines craftsmanship with experimental surface design and provocative approaches to cut.
For Unsold. Retold., Owen worked with the garments’ existing construction, silhouettes and details, preserving traces of their histories while transforming them into something fresh and unmistakably his own.

We gave 12 independent makers access to unsold donated garments and invited them to see what they could become.
The result is UNSOLD. RETOLD. – a series of limited collections for which existing garments have been transformed into original, one-off pieces.
50% of every sale goes to the maker, with 50% supporting Crisis’ work to end homelessness.
