Ashley Jess Knight x Unsold. Retold.
Ashley Jess Knight is an award-winning London-based textile upcycler and designer who transforms deadstock and recycled materials into colourful, one-of-a-kind jackets and accessories. Winner of the Clothworkers Award at Cockpit Arts, she also leads workshops that help people build creative skills and rethink fashion waste.
For Unsold. Retold., Ashley stopped designing for the garments and started designing with them, letting each garment’s colours, construction and quirks guide playful, story-led designs through weaving, appliqué and embroidery, using only the pieces found and studio offcuts.
